Non-Life Actuary
C.Y. Actuaries is seeking to recruit a high-calibre actuarial professional to join and expand our consulting team in Nicosia. The primary focus of the role is to provide actuarial support to clients in the non-life insurance industry.
About the Role
- Lead or support actuarial projects in the non-life insurance sector
- Provide audit support to non-life insurance companies
- Support in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and integration projects, ensuring seamless actuarial support in due diligence, financial modelling, and risk assessments
- Involvement in the development of C.Y. Actuaries’ insurance consulting offering
Requirements
- University degree preferably in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- Fully Qualified as an Actuary through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom or other recognized actuarial association
- At least 6 years of experience in a non-life insurance company or consulting firm
- Experience in actuarial disciplines with a non-life insurance company or insurance consultancy (e.g., reserving, IFRS17)
- Committed to achieving the highest quality standards
- Exceptional client service, along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
- Computer literate, with excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, knowledge of Visual Basic, Python, R or similar tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages
