During the month of July, we had the pleasure to meet 4 students who attended our one week online summer course. The participants had the opportunity to be trained by our team with a number of online sessions, including:

• Insight into the world of consulting, with a focus on actuarial and investment work
• Information about the professions involved and the relevant designations (Fellowship as an Actuary, CFA Charterholder)
• Assistance with study and career development plans
• Examples of client work, application of the relevant professional knowledge to the business world and social impact

On Thursday 30 January 2020, we had the pleasure to host four Year 6 English School students at our offices as part of ‘Youth Action Day’.

On this day, English School students spend the day working in local businesses, in areas of their interest, and instead of being paid, their wages were donated to charity. The students had the opportunity to experience a professional environment and find out whether a certain career or university choice would actually suit them.

C.Y Actuaries is proud to have contributed to this initiative and really enjoyed having the students with us! We wish them all the best in all their future endeavors!

Our annual Christmas cocktail party was held at Patio Cocktail Bar on 12 December 2019.

We would like to thank everyone that joined us and made this event memorable! Our best wishes for a prosperous new year 2020 filled with good health, happiness and joy!
