Constantina joined Cronje and Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd in 2016 and is a CAA holder.
Constantina is a Consultant at C.Y Actuaries, specializing in actuarial valuations and investment consulting for pension plans and provident funds. She has extensive experience in performing accounting valuations for Defined Benefit (DB) schemes under various accounting standards, including IFRS (IAS19), US GAAP, and Greek GAAP, as well as conducting funding valuations for local pension plans.
At C.Y Actuaries, Constantina has designed investment strategies for provident funds and pension plans, provided support to Management Committees during the asset manager selection process, and conducted asset-liability studies and company reserves management. Her responsibilities also include delivering tailored investment advice on establishing risk management systems, ensuring strong investment governance, and monitoring and evaluating the performance of appointed asset managers.
Beyond these core duties, Constantina delivers consulting projects across various business lines, offering data analysis support to insurance companies, developing business plans, conducting salary benchmarking studies, and designing remuneration plans. Her diverse skill set enables her to provide valuable insights and solutions to a broad range of clients.
Constantina holds the following qualifications:
- Certified Actuarial Analyst (CAA) of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK
- Member of the Cyprus Association of Actuaries
- MSc in Actuarial Science from the Leicester University (UK)
- BSc in Applied Mathematics with a specialisation in Pure and Applied Science from the University of Cyprus.
