Rita joined Cronje & Yiannas Actuaries and Consultants Ltd in 2026 as a Senior Consultant, and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom.
Rita has 15 years of actuarial experience, primarily in the London Market, with additional experience in the Cyprus insurance market. Her London Market career has included actuarial roles at a leading Lloyd’s insurer, working across a broad range of specialty insurance business, including marine, property, cyber and professional lines.
Her experience spans Reserving, Solvency II, Pricing and Actuarial Analytics, including reserving valuations, Solvency II modelling and reporting, pricing model development, portfolio performance monitoring and the development of analytical tools to support underwriting and business decision-making. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders across underwriting, finance, risk and actuarial functions.
Earlier in her career, Rita gained experience in the Cyprus general insurance market through actuarial roles in both industry and professional services, working across reserving, pricing and Solvency II.
Rita holds the following qualifications:
- Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA)
- MSc in Actuarial Management (Distinction), Bayes Business School
- BSc in Mathematics with Actuarial Science (First Class Honours), University of Southampton
